Stemeseder/Lillinger/Ángeles

Elias Stemeseder and Christian Lillinger’s collaboration is a dynamic blend of electronics and acoustics, constantly shifting in form. They create complex, multidimensional compositions that incorporate sampling, serialism, and folk music references. Their music, featuring drums, piano, keyboards, synthesizers, and samplers, evolves in unpredictable rhythms that push the boundaries of each instrument.

They will be joined by Camilo Ángeles, flutist, composer, sound artist, researcher, and educator from Arequipa, Peru, based in Mexico City.

His work explores the hybridization of aesthetics beyond specific genres. He is driven by the sonorous re-exploration of the flute, a non traditional approach crafted by his own history as a human being, as an immigrant and as a Latin American artist. Blending improvisation and composition he reimagines the flute with extended techniques, microtonal textures, electronic processing, and hyper-amplification, transforming subtle air gestures into powerful sound waves.

Elias Stemeseder: keys, electronics
Christian Lillinger: drums
Camilo Ángeles: flute
